18-style Chi Kung

After some thought, this is the keeper, the better example of good form (body posture). In "Marching with Ball" he is lively, like my instructor would do a double bounce. That was always my favorite part.

  1. Step in
  2. Regulate Breathing
  3. Open Chest
  4. Sway in a Rainbow
  5. Sweep the Clouds (I call it Wheeling Arms)
  6. Rolling Arms (looks like Repulse Monkey to me)
  7. Rowing Boat (looks like Butterfly Stroke to me)
  8. Lift Ball
  9. Turn to Look at the Moon
  10. Push Palms
  11. Cloud Hands
  12. Scoop the Sea (we switched legs after 3rd rep)
  13. Roll with the Waves (we switched legs after 6th rep)
  14. Pitching Spread Wings (we switched legs after 3rd rep)
  15. Press Fists
  16. Fly like a Bird
  17. Big Circles with Arms (switch directions after 3rd rep)
  18. March with Ball
  19. Scooping Breath

This was the handout (no touch-up except for cropping) for 18-style.  It looks like 18-style is on the bottom half.  The top half looks like our warm-up exercises.  Warm-up was done from the first day at every class or meet-up, so I never really looked at it.

I've seen the same 18-style enlarged at several other sites on the web, cleaned up with Spanish titles and I think the other one I saw was in Dutch.  Before I found it in my notes, I thought I had English titles, but turns out to be the Chinese pronunciation.
